Community & Society Guidance Update
The dedicated Quality team within Community & Society provides a range of quality improvement support for centres, from the Guidance Update to Quality Guidance FAQs and hundreds of centre events, held regionally and nationally every year.
Guidance Update
Greater centre activity and awareness, combined with increased external regulation and scrutiny resulted in external verifiers and centres requesting standardised guidance on issues raised. In response to this, we produced a Guidance Update which addresses two main categories:
- Centre, assessment and verification processes and procedures which affect all N/SVQ and VRQ qualifications supported by Community & Society.
- Qualification specific queries.
Currently qualification specific queries and responses are recorded in both the Guidance Update and as Quality Guidance FAQs which are located in the Related Documents section below and can also be found within the relevant qualification web pages.

Guidance and/or additional clarification, provided in response to queries for specific qualifications, is recorded in the Quality Guidance FAQs and these documents are located in the Related Documents section below and on the relevant qualification web pages.
