Performing Engineering Operations - NVQ 1,2 (No. 2251 )
These NVQs assess a wide range of basic engineering skills and are suitable for those working within production and maintenance engineering. You can choose from a wide range of optional units to suit the particular specialism of your career. The qualifications have a core and option structure thus allowing flexibility. They are therefore suitable for small to medium enterprises and those who require multi-functional skills. The assessment strategy is based on the existing NVQs. Three examples of performance evidence will be required plus evidence of underpinning knowledge. The assessment conditions and evidence can be used from sheltered environments such as training centres, colleges, MOD training establishments and prisons. Each unit contains a summary, performance statements, scope, underpinning knowledge and an evidence profile.
