Administration

 careers in administration

Administrators support companies by word-processing reports, letters and presentations, answering the telephone, keeping on top of filing systems and much more. Whatever the company, they will have administrators because without them everything grinds to a halt, nothing gets done, no-one gets paid and, before you know it, the company goes bust!

There are lots of good career opportunities for administrators with the right qualifications and experience. You could become a specialist in data processing or accounts, or be promoted to team supervisor or manager. In fact, administration is a great way to get into a successful company and then work your way up. Lots of companies prefer to promote people internally rather than recruit from outside.
