Customer service

Do you get on with most people?
Do you know what to say if someone is feeling lost and confused or angry and upset?
Have you thought about a career in customer service?
Most types of organisation employ people to deal directly with customers by answering their queries, providing information, selling products, helping to solve problems and resolve complaints. There is a current shortage of skilled customer service professionals and if you have the right qualifications and experience you could find yourself in demand. Starting out in a customer service role can also be a good way to break into large organisations that you'd love to work for.
It's also worth remembering that there are very few job roles that don't need customer services skills, so whatever profession you end up in, these skills will be useful to you.
