The emphasis of this level 3 qualification is on professional cookery with units that demonstrate that they can prepare and cook a wide range of food including: The level 3 Award in Hospitality (Professional Cookery) is aimed at learners progressing from the level 2 NVQ in Hospitality. The qualification has three routes: The mandatory units for all three routes are: Learners are assessed on the job, in their workplace through a portfolio of evidence. After completing this qualification, learners can go onto the following qualifications: Centre approval is required; there is no fast-track available for this qualification.
