This Higher Professional Diploma provides learners with the opportunity to gain the high level skills and knowledge needed to manage current practices within the land-based industry. The various areas which can be focused on include site development, facility management, animal management, fundraising, design of landscape areas and international issues.   Assessment is by assignments. It could form the first part (120 credits) of a related Foundation or Honours degree. Learners could also progress to the Master Professional Diploma in Strategy & Development at Level 7 which can be taken in a land-based management context.
