It's time to move away from paper-based portfolio systems - City & Guilds' ITQ Plus offers you the chance to use an on-line solution that goes beyond the traditional e-portfolio application.

What is iTQ Plus?
iTQ Plus is a new package provided by City & Guilds, which gives centres iTQ with the SkilSure S/NVQ e-portfolio for a competitive rate.  Just register your candidates on the iTQ Plus complexes (4322-21/22/23) and, as well as being able to do iTQ, they'll also have access to a fantastic e-portfolio system at a special price that includes the registration on City & Guilds iTQ and the cost of the SkilSure e-portfolio. You will still need to register your learners' details with SkilSure.

How does the SkilSure e-portfolio work?
SkilSure S/NVQ is an online S/NVQ management solution, endorsed by City & Guilds. It's a web based e-portfolio, which requires no special skills to use and no new software needs to be installed. SkilSure provides a secure, password controlled, environment where candidates make plans, record progress and store evidence of achievement. The iTQ portfolio is accessible anytime, anywhere with a computer and internet connection.

SkilSure's e-portfolio provides documentary evidence of the candidate's achievements as they work towards completing their City & Guilds iTQ. It tracks your learners' progress against the NVQs and allows mentors and supervisors to support candidate development, builds and maintains candidates' portfolios of evidence to support their accomplishment and allows assessors and verifiers controlled access to review, appraise and comment on the evidence that's been submitted.

Saving you time and money
It's estimated that the cost of using an e-portfolio to do an NVQ is about 50% of the costs involved in using a hard copy portfolio. This includes finding the paperwork, assessor expenses, Internal Verifier time and expenses, as well as the financial and environmental cost of using the paper involved in managing a paper portfolio.

Fees for 07/08
The 07/08 fees for iTQ Plus (which combines the qualification and e-portfolio fees) are:

Level 1 4322-21:    Registration  £37.30, Certification £30

Level 2 4322-22:    Registration  £47.90, Certification £30

Level 3 4322-23:    Registration  £70.00, Certification £30
