The QCA-approved Higher Professional Diploma in Building Services Engineering is suitable for people who want to gain both a broad understanding of a variety of high-level roles in the building services industry and the advanced technical skills required for them.  

Learners can choose from either an Electrotechnical or Mechanical Services Engineering pathway. Assessment is by assignment.

The HPD could form the first part (120 credits) of a related Foundation Degree. It can also be used as a progression route on to the Level 4 S/NVQ in Building Services Engineering Technology and Project Management.
