At just 23, Beauty Therapist Naomi Weirs has really excelled since gaining her qualifications - she even has a World Skills Gold Award under her belt. Testament to the happiness we get from finding the right job for us, Naomi is set for a sparkling future career despite the fact she has only been working in the beauty industry for a short while.

Originally from Durham, Naomi relocated to East Bolton in order to study towards her City & Guilds Levels 2 and 3, and once she completed her course, secured a job as a Beauty Therapist at the popular Relax and Glow beauty clinic in Cleadonl.

"I'm really happy in my job because I love meeting new people who come from all walks of life, which I get to do every day," says Naomi. "I also get job satisfaction from the idea that what I do for a living makes a difference. I can help some people change their lives by building up their confidence and self-esteem, so I feel like I'm making a valuable contribution."

Looking to the future, Naomi plans to continue gaining qualifications that will enable her to progress her career as a beauty therapist, and perhaps move in to lecturing in beauty colleges.
