What is mobile testing?

Mobile testing is all about taking the test to the candidate.  Thanks to advances in the software which powers GOLA, all of this is now possible to take mobile testing into the workplace and to centres that do not have the GOLA testing system due to low testing volumes or lack of suitable internet access.  

How can we go mobile?

The GOLA testing system can be used offline. Once you have downloaded the tests to the Enterprise SiteManager application (ESM) and verified the existence of the test file on the local system, you no longer need the internet to access the tests as they are stored locally. You can download these tests up to five days in advance.

3G mobile connection

If you want to have internet access wherever you are testing then 3G cards are the latest and fastest option.  Setting up a 3G card is simple and only takes a few minutes.  Although more expensive initially, the benefits of having fast and mobile internet access allows you to operate all web access points of the GOLA process such as scheduling, downloading tests and uploading results whilst out of the office.
