Apprenticeships in Engineering (fee package) - App (No. 9730 (-01 to -02) )
The apprenticeship is suitable if your learners want to develop a career in engineering. There are two routes available: The apprenticeship combines an NVQ, a technical certificate and key skills qualification. NVQ: For the NVQ your learners will be taught on the job and will need to be in a suitable work placement. There is an option of taking an online test for the mandatory units. Technical Certificate: Your learners will be taught in a college-based environment and assessment will be by an online (GOLA) test for mandatory units and centre set assignments for non mandatory units. Key Skills (England and Northen Ireland): For the application of number, communications and ICT your learners will need to create a portfolio of evidence based on any activity with a clear purpose. You will also need to complete an externally marked test.
