This qualification focuses on personal development and contributing to the community. It is aimed at learners who would like to improve their personal, social and/or employability skills. Learners will be encouraged to raise their aspirations through the development of greater awareness of self, others and the community. The qualification is available as an Award and Certificate. The qualification is delivered through a range of settings such as individual and group work, community and work placed work. Learners will be assessed by candidate portfolio of evidence. Centres registered to deliver the Certificate in Personal, Team Work and Community Skills (3891) are eligible for fast track approval. Centres not approved for the 3891 qualification will need to complete a Qualification approval form (QAP). Organisations which are not already City & Guilds centres must apply for centre and qualification approval. Completing this qualification will give learners the confidence, skills, knowledge and opportunity to develop positive approaches to others and their own lives.
