Verification of Qualifications

As well as providing you with a new certificate, we can also confirm (on request), any City & Guilds qualification you may have received.  This service is often required when you may have received a new job offer for example.  What we simply do is search our archives for the relevant info, and on our company headed paper, we will write to the relevant person, confirming the qualification you received, and the date it was awarded. Travelling to Australia or New Zealand?

If you're emigrating to New Zealand, you may have already been asked to provide confirmation of your qualification.  We provide this specialist service directly to the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, and will send them a confirmation of a past students qualifications on request from the student. Please note that there is a charge for this service.

Making a payment

• This service costs £34 and covers a specialist archive search
• Cheques should be made payable to City & Guilds
• Your cheque guarantee card details should be written on the reverse of the cheque (card number, expiry date, issue number if applicable, name on the card)
• You can also pay by credit card - just enter your card details on the application form
• Payments are non-refundable

The process

• We ask you to give us two full weeks to issue the letter - please wait until then before you contact us
• We cannot guarantee that we will be able to find your details
• If a search for your records proves unsuccessful, we will issue you with a letter confirming the outcome of our search.

Completing your application form

Your chances of a speedy and positive outcome are much improved if we get all the right information up front, and you complete your application form in BLOCK CAPITALS; so to help you along, we have compiled a check list:

1. Be sure it was a City & Guilds qualification you studied - you may laugh but you'd be surprised to know the number of people who get this wrong. 
2. Double check and make sure you get the name of the college right - Somewhere in Manchester is close, but not close enough we're afraid.
