Handling Refrigerants (2078) as an interim certificate – changes to legislation

We have been asked by F-Gas support to clarify the status of the Handling Refrigerants (2078) as an interim qualification under the new F-Gas legislation. 

F-Gas Support have stressed that the 2078 qualification will not be valid as an interim qualification if achieved after 9 March 2009 (for existing engineers) or after 4 March 2009 for new entrants to the industry.  Achieved 2078’s before these dates would be counted as an interim certificate under the legislation.
