This qualification will enable you to familiarise yourself with:
- Infection control legislation and policies in England
- developing an understanding of cleaning methods
- appropriate waste disposal processes
- preventing the spread of infection.

There are no set rules for how this qualification is delivered - that depends on the training provider you choose. Usually you'll learn in a group and complete a mixture of theory and practical tasks for each of the 3 units.
