These qualifications are designed to support all learners who are either employed or undertaking work experience in health or social care settings and who work with adults or children and young people. 

The qualifications are based on the knowledge specifications from the Core units of the N/SVQs in Health and Social Care and are available at levels 2 and 3.  At level 3, there are separate pathways for those working with adults and those working with children and young people. 

Candidates are assessed by assignments and there is no external test
