Airbus Apprenticeship Case Study

Airbus is the world’s leading aircraft manufacturer and working in such a technologically-advanced industry, Airbus requires highly trained staff. That’s why Airbus worked with City & Guilds and Deeside College to develop a composite manufacturing qualification to train its future workforce of skilled engineers.

The programme has seen significant interest and success, and in 2012 one of their apprentices, Adam Waldron, was awarded ‘Apprentice of the Year’ at the annual City & Guilds Lion Awards.
