Business Support Skills

Working with leading industry figures, such as CILEx , AMPSAR and Microsoft our Business Support Skills programme provides you with innovative, flexible and fully supported qualifications. 

We have an extensive range of qualifications for you to select options from:

  1. Customer Service – the perfect qualifications to be embedded within all vocational qualifications. It can also be run discreetly to provide learners with the essential skills for the industry or to develop CPD points.

  2. Business Administration – these qualifications provide core business administration skills and apprenticeships, whilst allowing learners to specialise in key areas such as legal, medical secretaries and marketing.

  3. IT User - IT User provides the skills required to use software applications and personal computer equipment.

Social Media and Digital Apprenticeship

City & Guilds is the first Awarding Organisation to be offering a Social Media and Digital Marketing Apprenticeship which is attractively funded through 16-18 and Adult for Awards, Certificates and Diplomas. The apprenticeship has been developed to meet the grow need for businesses to use social media.

Business Support Skills qualifications are supported by SmartScreen.

SmartScreen is our online portal for tutors, assessors and learners. It provides useful support materials and tutor forums to complement delivery and learning. Our Subscription Packages are outlined below:

Qualification subscription - £250 for an individual subscription in one area of Business Support Skills.

Sub portfolio subscription - £1000 for a sub portfolio subscription. Purchase all of Customer Service, or all of IT User or all of Business Administration – saving up to £3000.

Full portfolio subscription - £2000 for a full portfolio subscription. Purchase all 29 subscriptions in Business Support Skills covering all three areas: Customer Service, IT User and Business Administration- saving £6000.

All packages include the relevant technical certificates, NVQs, Smartscreen apprenticeship extra, Functional Skills Plus, ERR and PLTS content. 30 subscriptions are included in the full Business Support Skills package.
