Are your learners already working as an electrician but want to prove the level of skills and knowledge that they have? If they want to prove their worth then the NVQ in Electrotechnical Services might be for them. This qualification will help them prove their competence against the National Occupational Standards. This qualification is aimed at practising electricians already working in the industry and wish to prove their skills and knowledge against the National Occupational Standards. There are six pathways/certificates to choose from: For all of the above you will need to complete 4 mandatory units plus up to 4 optional units. Your learners will need to be employed in a role or a related role before registration, and will therefore learn on the job. They will be assessed by collating a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates their competence against the performance requirements. An assessor will determine whether they have reached the required level.
