Plumbing - NVQ 2,3 (No. 6089 )
Let your learners lead the plumbing pack with their skills and knowledge in pipes, tubing, drainage and water systems. Tighten the valves and let them prove themselves with a City & Guilds NVQ in Plumbing. The NVQs form part of the apprenticeship framework for the plumbing industry and also cover specialist options in oil and gas systems. Note: New entrants into the industry should undertake the Certificate in Plumbing Studies (6129). The NVQ in Plumbing is aimed at those already working in the industry and wish to prove their skills and knowledge against the National Occupational Standards. The qualifications are offered at levels 2 and 3. There is one option at level 2 and three at level 3: Your learners will need to be employed in a role that is related to plumbing before registration. They will therefore learn on the job. They will be assessed by collating a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates their competence against the performance requirements. An assessor will determine whether they have reached the required level. On completion of this qualification, your learners may be able to progress on to the level 3 NVQ in Plumbing or one of the following related qualifications: We also offer a wide range of Leadership and Management qualifications through our sister organisation ILM.
