Philip is Group Strategy Director with City & Guilds where he works with the Management Board to help build a broader vocational education organisation beyond its strong awarding base.
Philip has over 20 years' experience in developing market-leading teaching and learning resources both in print and online.
Previous board roles at educational publishers Heinemann/Harcourt included strategy, eLearning, and eAssessment, and he has also consulted in branding, telecoms, broadcast and IT.
He has taught in adult education, served in school governor and PTA roles, and was educated at Imperial College (Physics) and LBS (MBA).
Beyond education and training he is also passionate about architecture, baroque art and attempting to learn new languages.
