Pat Stringfellow is a Trustee of City & Guilds and is a member of the remuneration committee.
She has been involved with City & Guilds for ten years and is a keen advocate of vocational learning and development having been an early promoter and implementer of NVQ’s for cleaning professionals in one of the UK’s largest facilities management companies.
She has also for many years supported the National Training Awards as a judge and also in chairing the national judging panel. Pat was awarded the MBE for service to training in 2003. In 2011 she was made an Honorary Fellow of City & Guilds.
Pat has a first degree in Business Studies and an MBA. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development having worked in the HR profession for over 20 years.
Pat has worked with blue chip service companies in the Private Sector including Sainsbury, Marks & Spencer, Lex and Rentokil Initial where she was a Human Resource Director working across its many businesses in the UK and overseas.
Latterly she has been working as an independent HR and business adviser across a wide range of sectors including distribution, pharmaceuticals, on line retailing and the service industry.
She specialises in organisation change and development as well as working to develop individual and top team effectiveness. Pat is also a Non-Executive Director of Corps Security.
