Gary Sinclair, trainee in ‘The Knowledge’ describes why he has always dreamed of becoming a London cabbie, and how he feels to have been given the chance to fulfil his dream by Fair Cities.

Gary knows exactly where he wants to be – working as a London taxi driver. For him, being a cabbie will give him a good living and the freedom to work the hours that suit him. And he’s found a way to reach his destination – a grant from Fair Cities, a Government-backed initiative, for the three years it will take him to get there. When he’s arrived, The Knowledge isn’t the only thing Gary will have – he’ll have the backing of a City & Guilds certificate too.
