What's involved in delivering this course?

To deliver these qualifications, you will need qualified and experienced teachers/trainers. We strongly recommend that team members hold qualifications in assessment and/or quality assurance according to their role, as you will need suitably qualified staff to carry out training and assessment.

You will also need suitable facilities to carry out the required training to enable learners to achieve industry standards and appropriate access to learning materials, eg textbooks and internet

You can get automatic approval for Level 3 (6302-13) and Level 4 (6302-14) if your Centre is approved to offer:

  • 7303 (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector).

You can get fast-track approval for all of 6302 if you offer:

  • 7303 - Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector plus approval for 7318 (6318) - Learning and Development
  •  

  • 7303 Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector plus approval for 6317 Assessment, Quality Assurance qualifications.

Level 3

Level 4
Your role involves identifying learning needs, planning for learning, engaging learners with differing characteristics, and assessing learning. The award at this level provides more in-depth theories and principles. A Level 4 Award is essential for those who wish to become specialist teachers of literacy, language or numeracy.
