Our newest Group member takes hospitality seriously. The Hospitality Awarding Body (HAB) is the UK's specialist awarding body for hospitality qualifications and also awards a number of popular one-day generic and service sector qualifications.

HAB award National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) through a network of HAB approved centres. Also they award a range of Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) in partnership with the Scottish Qualifications Authority. NVQs and SVQs are the primary components of the requirements for the Modern Apprenticeship programme.

HAB also awards several funded Vocationally Related Qualifications (VRQs) that provide an introduction to some of the key principles of customer facing operations. HAB offers generic VRQs and VRQs suitable for the service sector and the hospitality industry.  HAB website
