These qualifications are suitable for candidates working in animal care wishing to gain recognition for their skills and career progression.  They have a general route at levels 2 and 3 as well as new routes in dog grooming, pet care and retail, animal welfare, breeding, animal training and open farms.

All qualifications have been accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority at levels 1-3 and are therefore all eligible for UK funding.

There is a centre resource CD-ROM kit consisting of a candidate guide, assessment strategy, standards, resource and assessment guidance which is available upon request.

The Level 1 Certificate in Land based Studies, Intermediate certificate and Advanced Certificate in Dog Grooming and the level 4 NVQ in Animal Care and Management may also be of interest to you as a centre and your candidates.
