City & Guilds online tests provide an efficient and secure method of assessing the knowledge requirements of the N/SVQ, and can be used instead of the written tests. Each test covers the knowledge requirement of each unit.

The score report is available as soon as the test is completed and can be saved or printed for inclusion in the candidates‘ paper or electronic portfolio. Candidates are given a percentage score and clear information on which underpinning knowledge they have successfully demonstrated and which they need to re-visit.

How to Order
You can order via City & Guilds’ secure Walled Garden.  Go to ‘Candidate Registrations’; input your centre number and the scheme details. One you’ve input your candidates details you can select the package of tests they need. Level 1 includes 8 tests, level 2 11-15 tests and level 3 10-13. The price includes unlimited access to all tests within the chosen route for the lifetime of the candidate’s N/SVQ registration. Candidates need to be registered to take the online tests. Scheduling
Tests can be scheduled to be taken instantly or up to 6 months in advance once a candidate has been registered with City & Guilds. Allow 48 hours for registrations to be processed before scheduling the first test. To use the online tests your centre must be a GOLA-enabled centre.
