NEW NVQs in Occupational Health and Safety

We’re pleased to announce the availability of new level 3/4/5 NVQs in Health and Safety, based around ENTO standards.

These are : 

• 3644-30 Level 3 NVQ in Occupational Health and Safety
  Aimed at Health and Safety Officers who represent staff concerns to employers.
• 3644-40 Level 4 NVQ in Occupational Health and Safety Practice
  Suitable for people who are experienced in dealing with significant hazards and complex risks
• 3644-50 Level 5 NVQ in Management in Health and Safety
  For those senior or strategic positions such as Health and Safety managers.

We also continue to offer the Level 5 NVQ for Health and Safety Regulators.

City & Guilds qualifications and IOSH membership:
If you’re a health and safety professional aiming to develop your career you’ll certainly want to consider membership of IOSH.

Our NVQs are recognised by IOSH for learners completing our Level 3 and 4 NVQs in Health and Safety.
Health and safety professionals advance their careers through the different membership grades offered by IOSH – The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. With over 32,000 members worldwide, IOSH is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that sets professional standards, supports and develops members and provides authoritative advice and guidance on health and safety issues

Our Level 3 NVQ in Occupational Health and Safety enables your learners to become a Technician Member (Tech IOSH). This recognises the qualifications and competence needed by professionals working in a range of operational safety and health roles. To become a Technician Member, learners must have at least five years’ experience in a health and safety role, as well as an accredited qualification. As a Technician Member, you can use the letters Tech IOSH after your name. To keep your Technician status, you must maintain a CPD record.

Our Level 4 NVQ in Occupational Health and Safety Practice is recognised by IOSH as the basis for Graduate Membership (Grad IOSH) This category is for people who are working towards becoming Chartered Members. As a Graduate Member, you can use the letters Grad IOSH after your name. To keep your Graduate status, learners must maintain a CPD record.

These qualifications will help learners prove their ability to develop, operate and evaluate effective health and safety systems within complex organisations.
