This is the direct replacement for the 5157 NVQ in Printing. It is the only occupationally-based qualification for the printing sector, covering all the work based competencies for workers within the UK printing industry.

The NVQ is based on the occupational standards approved by the print sector and the sector skills council, Proskills UK.

The qualification is split into units and occupational pathways that cover the various groups of employers and experienced company staff. The qualification is therefore more manageable and allows greater choice for candidates to gain a qualification that meets their work-based requirements.
