Certificate in Basic Plumbing - Vocational 2 (No. 6129 )
If your learners' interest in plumbing extends to leaky pipes, water systems and drainage, then City & Guilds has a qualification that will introduce them to the wonderful world of plumbing. The Certificate in Plumbing Studies will help them understand the knowledge and theory before they are able to progress onto the next level and before employment into the industry. The qualifications are the Technical Certificates for the apprenticeships in Plumbing. There are no formal entry requirements. The Certificate in Plumbing Studies is aimed at anyone that has an interest in and is new to plumbing. An underpinning knowledge test needs to be taken alongside the corresponding main complex. These are as follows: New entrants to the plumbing industry are directed to this qualification instead of the NVQ. Your learners will be taught within a classroom environment at a college/Further Education (FE) institution. They will be assessed by a mixture of practical activities and multiple-choice tests. On completion of this qualification you can progress on to the the level 3 or the NVQ in Plumbing (6089). Who is it aimed at?
