Tutoring Online supports the transfer of a tutor's skills from a traditional environment to an online environment. It provides a good grounding in online tutoring, and is aimed at anyone who is supporting learners online. The course covers all the principles that underpin good tutoring and shows how these can be implemented in an online environment. The course focuses on how to support students online rather than the technology of tutoring online. this award is only available as a tutor-supported course using National Extension College's (NEC) Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
