Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment - Vocational 3 (No. 2377 )

If someone mentioned PAT testing to your learners, would they know what it meant? Well, if their answer is yes then City & Guilds have a qualification that will inspect and test them to the highest standards.

The Certificate Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment is a qualification based on the IEE’s Code of Practice for in-service inspection and testing electrical equipment.

Note: This qualification should not be confused with the Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (2391), which is aimed at installations of entire buildings rather than portable appliances.

Who is it aimed at?

This qualification is aimed at practising electricians involved in the inspection and testing of electrical equipment (e.g. portable appliances) and/or those involved in managing the process of it.
