What is included?

City & Guilds Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector DTLLS (7305)

We are supporting all the mandatory units for the diploma: unit 003/4/5/6 and 007.

There is a unit overview for each unit, other handouts and activities to support learning. There are also activities and a case study, which can be used across all units.  Other support materials for delivering DTLLS include:

• a checklist for the materials offered 
• a learner’s guide to referencing and citing
• a handout on plagiarism
• a guide to identifying the level required
• top tips for centres delivering DTLLS.

City & Gilds Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector CTLLS (7304)

Materials support all mandatory units and includes:

• section overview handout
• scheme of work
• numerous activities with advice for tutors on what each of the activities are and how best to use them
• Flash multiple choice quiz.

City & Guilds Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong learning sector PTLLS (7303)

Materials support all 5 sections of the award and includes:

• section overview handout
• numerous activities with advice for tutors on what each of the activities are and how best to use them
• flash multiple choice quizzes (section 2 & 3)/ interactive drag and drop activities (section 1, 4 & 5).

Materials

All materials have clear instructions where relevant and can be adapted to fit in with your delivery. The materials should be used in conjunction with the standards set for the qualification to ensure full coverage of the learning requirements.

The materials on SmartScreen have been designed to support assessors and tutors delivering the PTLLS, CTLLS and DTLLS awards and learners and candidates taking them. Some are based around the sections, while others are provided to support the qualification as a whole.

How much does it cost?

The Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) 7305 costs only £300 per year and includes CTLLS and PTTLS content. All your tutors and learners will be able to access the materials regardless of numbers.

(The Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) 7303 and the Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) 7304 are available to buy individually at a cost of £50 per year for PTLLS and £175 per year for CTLLS). 

For centres that have already ordered 7303 or 7304 and wish to add 7305, this will be reflected in your invoice.
