Construction

careers in construction

If you’re looking for a hands-on job that won’t keep you cooped up inside then construction is a good bet. While office workers are sweltering in their glass cages, wishing they were out in the sunshine, you will be!

But construction isn’t just one job. It’s actually hundreds of them. On big projects like a skyscraper, hotel or office block, you’ll have lots of different people who each have their own individual job. Bricklayers, carpenters, scaffolders, plasterers, tilers and loads more besides. Working in construction you can travel the world (post-work pint on Bondi anyone?), start your own business or even work on a project that could become a national landmark.
