Julie Doig – Restaurant Services
Julie is 21-years-old from Perthshire in Scotland. She studied at Aberdeen College where, amongst many qualifications, she gained a HND in Hospitality Management and a WSET Level 2. She now works for the prestigious Gleneagles Hotel.
‘I’m really looking forward to all the training I will receive in the lead up to WorldSkills. I feel proud to represent my country and I am excited because I am doing something that not many people get the opportunity to do.’
Competition requirements: Julie will need to prepare and serve dishes and drinks to live customers. She will also need to demonstrate resourcefulness, good manners and practical ability.
