As part of our commitment to ensuring the quality and integrity of our qualifications, we are seeking to recruit external verifiers to monitor the quality and consistency of assessment practice within approved City & Guilds assessment centres.

We currently have quality assurance opportunities in:

South America and Caribbean: including Argentina, Barbados, Bahamas, Bermuda, Brazil, Guyana, Jamaica, Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago, Venezuela

North America and Canada: USA

Europe: including Canary Islands, Cyprus, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Turkey

Middle East: including Bahrain, Iran, Iraq (including Kurdistan), Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, U.A.E.

Africa: including Egypt, Libya, Morocco.

These are prestigious appointments and, as guardians of our international standards and reputation, we are looking for leading professionals in the areas of:

What skills do you need to be an External Verifier?

Applicants must have:

• an appropriate occupational background and experience in the sector they wish to work
• knowledge of or experience in education and/or training
• experience of quality assurance systems
• the ability to gather information and to make objective independent judgements about assessment practice and procedures within centres
• good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others
• experience in administrative duties (e.g. completing reports and maintaining records)
• a minimum of 10 days per annum available on which to undertake this role.
