Teach vocationally; learn vocationally
Your reasons for choosing City & Guilds are now more clearer than ever.
Parity of funding between university and City & Guilds teaching qualifications
We have always offered our centres the highest quality of FE teaching qualifications, and with the new framework we offer more flexibility and more routes of progression than ever before. Now Learners on the Diploma can also apply to their Local Authority for an educational maintenance grant, which has created parity of funding between university and City & Guilds teaching qualifications.
Teach Vocational; Learn Vocational
If learners plan to teach vocational or academic subjects, learning professional skills in a more vocational environment allows for a much more hands on experience. So if you plan to teach vocational subjects, doesn’t learning vocationally make much more sense?
Robust quality systems
All our centres are allocated their own External Verifier (EV). This is to ensure that centres are confidently able to implement the new teaching qualifications to meet the required quality standards.
Expert Advice and Support
We will run regular regional networking events to support our centres. The network events provide centre staff with an opportunity to raise issues, receive updates and support and also share good practise with other in a similar positions.
