Being able to use a computer is an essential part of life these days. The Level 1 e-Quals IT User qualification is aimed at learners who can perform basic tasks and want to familiarise themselves with everyday computer packages, including:

• word processing
• photoshop
• dreamweaver
• web design

Learners can also use the units from Certiport's IC³ qualification to put towards the Certificate for IT Users.

What's the next step
All centres that are currently offering e-Quals (7262) will gain automatic approval for e-Quals 07 (7266), so there no need to contact your regional office and fill out any forms.

If you are a new centre and would like to offer IT User qualifications you will need to contact your local City & Guilds regional office.

The QCA and Learning Aims reference number for level 1 Standard and Enhanced are:
