‘Learn while you work’ IT qualification
City & Guilds iTQ, developed with industry bodies and employers, is an innovative qualification that appeals to anyone who uses computers at work, home and college. It has a unique pick and mix design which allows learners to choose exactly which units best reflect their level of skill.

City & Guilds iTQ is not just for the work place! The mandatory unit does not need to be evidenced in the workplace, so it can be taken by anyone, not just those in paid employment.

Combine both – using e-Quals 07 practical assignments to achieve iTQ units. Both qualifications are workplace-relevant, up-to-date and fit-for-purpose. In fact, offering a combination of the two gives you greater access to priority funding for e-Quals 07 IT–User.

Our dedicated online support portal SmartScreenTM boasts brand new content that has been specifically designed to support tutors delivering and learners taking the e-Quals 07 qualifications. SmartScreenTM materials help engage learners in the excitement of learning through the use of activities, mock assignments, multiple choice questions and individual learning plans.

The flexibility of e-Quals 07 and iTQ is what first attracted our college to these qualifications. e-Quals and e-Quals 07 have been far more successful than CLAIT and ECDL as learners select their subjects to meet their own individual needs and career goals.

Furthermore they are attracted by the reputation and prestige that City & Guilds has in business and in the workplace. The iTQ qualification on the other hand has allowed us to expand our delivery into companies and has the adaptability to meet staff’s individual requirements, incorporating daily tasks and recognising bespoke packages within various companies.

By incorporating e-Quals and iTQ qualifications we are able to keep a simple and less complicated delivery mode that enables learners to select either practical workplace evidence or to complete an e-Quals assessment which is fully mapped to iTQ.
