At 30, celebrity hairdresser Trevor Sorbie became one of the youngest stylists to open up his own salon in Covent Garden and has continued to go from strength to strength , winning the highly coveted British Hairdresser of the Year title unrivalled four times. He has pioneered world-famous cuts and styling techniques such as The Wedge, The Chop and The Scrunch and was the first person to introduce professional haircare products for the high street in 1986.  In 2005, Trevor received his City & Guilds Fellowship (picture) from City & Guilds chairman David Young.
