QCA accredits four more AQA-City & Guilds Diplomas - [27 Jun 2008]
AQA and City & Guilds announced today (27 June 2008) that they have received formal accreditation from QCA for their new Diplomas in:
• Business Administration and Finance
• Environmental and Land-based Studies
• Hair and Beauty Studies
• Hospitality
These new Diplomas, which will be available for teaching from September 2009, complement the four AQA-City & Guilds Diplomas launched last year in Engineering, Construction and the Built Environment, IT and Creative and Media.
By combining their expertise and reputation for quality in the vocational and schools market, AQA and City & Guilds have developed high quality products that offer flexibility and choice for 14-19 year olds and other learners. AQA and City & Guilds have worked closely with the regulator and Diploma Development Partners to ensure that the Diplomas they are launching today represent class-leading products for the industry and for the learner.
Further details on the Diplomas can be found at the forthcoming AQA Exp events at the Southgate Hotel in Exeter on Tuesday, 1 July and the Arsenal Emirates Stadium in London on 4 July.
