We’re already seeing an uprising of entrepreneurs as nearly half of those questioned (48 per cent) know people under 30 who have their own business.

And various initiatives such as Small Business Service, Enterprise Britain and Young Enterprise, backed by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, should provide young people with a greater appetite for setting up their own business.

What’s more, the Chancellor has pledged that by 2006 the Government will meet its target of ensuring that every school pupil has access to enterprise education.
