Jane Packer, the florist, with Prince PhilipStarting up a business is challenging but equally rewarding. There are many initiatives and organisations around specifically to help those under 30 bring out their real entrepreneurial spirit.

They may even help you become the next Jane Packer! Jane began her career at 15 as a Saturday girl at a local flower shop. At 21, she took her first qualification in floristry and set up her own flower store in London’s West End. In 2005, she became the second woman to ever be awarded The Prince Philip Medal, City & Guilds’ highest accolade of achievement.
