Regional Manager
Our Regional Manager is Heather Johnson, her responsibilities include managing the Regional Office and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service and quality management support to our centres.The regional Services Manager is also responsible for the on-going development of the region, ensuring the needs of the learner and customer are met.
Customer Relationship Manager
We have two Customer Relationship Managers in the North East, Kate Campbell and Victoria Elliott. they both operate from the regional office to service customers and offer “a first point of contact” as required.
They will provide advice and guidance in the delivery of City & Guilds qualifications, and give advice on becoming a City & Guilds centre and what is required. The region is split geographically
Victoria Elliott; County Durham (inc Darlington), Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, North Northumberland, Redcar & Cleveland and Stockton on Tees
Kate Campbell; Cumbria, West Northumberland and Tyne & Wear (inc Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, North Tyneside, South Tyneside & Sunderland)
Sales Co-ordinator
Our Sales Co-ordinator is Lisa Simmonette, her role is to provide office based support to the Customer Relationship Manager's; this includes giving advice and support to new and existing centres when expanding current award portfolios.
This role is also responsible for the co-ordination and support of regional events, network group meetings and surgeries. Lisa also supports marketing and PR activities to promote City & Guilds and the region.
Regional Community & Society Adviser
Our Community & Society Advisor is Geraldine Donworth, she is available to provide support to our centres by providing specialist sector advice to centres.
Geraldine also facilitates our regional network meetings, delivers briefing sessions on new products and plays a major role in liaising with key stakeholders from the sector both regionally and nationally. Y

The Quality Team
The Quality Team oversees the quality assurance for a wide range of centres and the full range of qualifications offered by City & Guilds.
This is accomplished by in-depth analysis of external verifier reports of visits to centres and taking appropriate action where required, to ensure that risk is managed in accordance with the Regulator’s requirements.
Other responsibilities include training, support and allocation of external verifiers; management of approvals for new and existing centres and ensuring that any updates pertaining to centres is managed appropriately.
The team works with centres to ensure that quality assurance is achieved across the region.

Quality Assistants
We have a Quality Assistant in the region, Kayleigh Lynch, her primary responsibility is to be the first point of contact for everyone wishing to communicate with the regional office via the telephone and central e-mail.
Kayleigh deals with all general enquiries pertaining to the receipt of centre and qualification applications; provide administrative support to regional colleagues as well as resolving centre and learner queries about qualifications and procedures.
