Graduate Diploma

To complete the Engineering Council Graduate Diploma, you need to pass five technical units plus an individual Project unit. There’s a wide choice of units to choose from but remember to check with your institution that the combination of units you want to take is acceptable to them.

* You can take either unit 203 or 204 but not both. 203 is designed for mechanical or chemical engineers; 204 for civil engineers.

Points to note
• You should check with your institution that the combination of units you want to take is acceptable to them.
• You can repeat a unit as many times as you need to and it will not affect your completion of the Graduate Diploma. However, repetition may count against your application for professional registration with some institutions.
• Institutions may impose constraints on the time allowed to complete the Graduate Diploma.

The Graduate Diploma examination is set at the same level as the final year of a British BEng A-Search:Adult learners [International],A-Search:Adult learners [UK], gen
