Community Justice: Work with victims, survivors and witnesses (now closed for registrations) - NVQ (No. 7494 )
This qualification is now closed for registrations. The last registration date for both the level 3 and level 4 NVQs in Community Justice (7494) was the 31 July 2007, with a last certification date of 31 July 2010. The NVQs in Community Justice are suitable for those working with offending behaviour, community safety and victims and witnesses. They reflect the specific practice skills of the three strands of the community justice sector.

The qualification is aimed at staff work directly with victims, survivors and witnesses of crime providing support to individuals affected by offending or anti-social behaviour and enabling them to manage the effects that this has had on their lives.
At level 3, learners would be working directly with clients but would not deal with the most complex cases such as bereavement through crime or serious personal assault or abuse. They would have the opportunity to supervise and support others. At level 4, learners would be working in a managerial role or as specialist workers directly dealing with clients on complex issues such as bereavement through crime.
