This QCA-approved Higher Professional Diploma is aimed at people working in the constantly changing IT sector who require up-to-date technical skills and knowledge at a higher level. Specialist units include managing software specifications, managing ICT systems development, creating user and technical documentation and supporting ICT acquisition. Assessment is by assignment. It is intended that this qualification could form part of a related degree programme or foundation degree.
