This QCA-approved Professional Diploma is designed for people who are moving into an inspection role within learning disability services. The qualification forms part of the Learning Disability Awards Framework (LDAF).  The full Professional Diploma involves the completion of five units, including personal development and reflective practice, indicators of a good learning disability service for inspectors, and the inspector's role in the regulatory process.  The units are closely mapped to the NOS for Inspectors of Health & Social care for Adults and Children.  Assessment is by means of assignment.
