This course is for learners who want to try craft and design and make simple craft items to a high standard.

Level 1 Certificate (7722)
This is a 30-hour introduction available in many crafts such as textile decoration, fashion, ceramics, media, interior decoration, textiles, woodwork, flower arranging and cake decoration.

Level 2 Certificate (7822)
This is a 120-hour course available in over of 100 crafts such as textile decoration, fashion, ceramics, media, interior decoration, textiles, woodwork, flower arranging and cake decoration. It usually takes one year of evening classes and enables learners to reach a saleable standard of work in the three items they make. Successful learners could progress to the Level 3 Certificate in Design and Craft (7922).

Level 3 Certifiate (7922)
This course normally takes 2 years to complete (210 hours per year) and is available in over 100 crafts including textile decoration, fashion, ceramics, media, interior decoration, textiles, woodwork, flower arranging and cake decoration. This course enables learners to reach a very high creative standard of work in the five items they make. Successful learners could progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Design and Craft (7923).
