The City & Guilds events team are very busy with loads of workshops and launch events on the go covering a wide range of subject areas and reaching more than 3000 City & Guilds centres UK-wide.
Workshops are integral to centre communication and problem solving. Laura Wheeler, Product Manager for Contact Centre qualifications, explains:
‘Workshops are the most productive way to bring centres together. For example, the ones we held in March for contact centre qualifications were an important follow up to the scheme’s launch. They looked at how centres can offer NVQs, VRQs and key skills as part of the apprenticeship frameworks with minimal duplication. They also allowed us to identify any issues centres had and see how we could help.’
